Protect Your Tesla
So, you just picked up your new Tesla... Congrats! You may be wondering, “what can I do to keep my car in the newest condition possible?” The most critical first step is to avoid driving it anywhere without a Paint Protection Film / Clear Bra application. No, seriously. Our roads have so much dirt and debris that it’s nearly impossible to drive a vehicle without getting road grime and/or permanent rock chips on your brand-new car. On top of that, Tesla paint is notoriously soft, meaning it scratches easily and is extremely vulnerable to paint swirls. This isn’t a bad thing. It just means that it needs extra protection to keep it in mint condition.
Most of our clients bring their new Tesla straight to Q after picking up their car at the delivery center. Paint Protection Film / Clear Bra is integral in keeping your car rock chip free. We offer a variety of different packages and recommend that at a minimum, the front bumper is wrapped in PPF, as that is where the brunt of the rocks will hit when driving. Ceramic coatings are also crucial to keeping your Tesla in mint condition. A ceramic coating is a thin glass layer applied directly to your paint. It chemically bonds to your top coat and therefore makes your car extremely (we mean extremely) glossy, hydrophobic, non-stick, self-cleaning to a degree, and scratch resistant.
